Mary represents individuals and institutional clients in a wide array of residential and commercial real estate matters, including sales and acquisitions, financing, workouts, and foreclosures. Mary also represents clients in connection with the sale and purchase of mortgage loans, including performing due diligence and negotiating and closing loan pool purchases and sales.

Prior to returning to the practice of law, Mary was a founding member of Vallace Associates, Inc., a real estate and financial consulting company in the Boston area. As vice president and legal counsel of Vallace Associates, Mary represented both borrowers and lenders with respect to troubled real estate loans and debt restructurings, performed loan pool purchase and sale due diligence on behalf of lenders and Wall Street funds, and provided real estate and financial consulting services for numerous small and large institutional clients.

Prior to her work at Vallace Associates, Inc., Mary was an associate with the law firm of Gilman, McLaughlin and Hanrahan in Boston where her practice focused primarily in the area of real estate, concentrating on real estate loan transactions, workouts, and foreclosures.

Mary left Vallace Associates in 1998 to devote her time to raising her and her husband's five children. During this time, Mary was active in the Sudbury Public Schools and the Town of Sudbury, including participating in and co-chairing fundraising efforts, substitute teaching, and organizing activities and parent involvement. Mary also taught religious education at her family’s parish for over 15 years. Mary currently volunteers at the Sudbury Community Food Pantry which serves families from numerous Massachusetts towns.

Mary is a graduate of Boston College where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School and was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 1989.
