David W. Krumsiek, a co-founder of Perry Krumsiek, LLP, has practiced law across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for nearly thirty years. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School, and has been admitted to the bars of Massachusetts, New York, the United States District Court for Massachusetts, the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Dave’s expansive law practice includes business transactions, real estate, land use and zoning, civil litigation, condominium management, corporate law, employment law, executive compensation, franchise law, landlord-tenant matters, probate, estate planning, and family/matrimonial law. He has extensive experience litigating cases in the Massachusetts Superior, Housing, Probate, Family and Land Courts, the United States District Court, as well as administrative hearings such as those of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. He has taken over ninety cases to verdict (including twenty jury trials), argued dozens of appeals in the Federal and State Appellate Courts, and successfully represented clients in numerous private mediations and arbitrations.

Dave also has a wide range of experience with commercial and residential real estate transactions, representing individual and corporate real estate investors, mortgage brokerage firms and lending institutions in the conveyance and financing of property throughout New England. Additionally, he has advanced and argued various petitions on behalf of large hotel, retail, and restaurant clients in connection with complex zoning, licensing and permitting matters, both at the state and municipal levels.

An advocate of alternative dispute resolution, Dave co-founded the Boston Mediation Group after receiving formal ADR training, a requirement for conducting mediations pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 233 Section 23C (the Mediation Confidentiality Statute).

Dave is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts, and the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association. He is also a title insurance agent of Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company and Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company.

Dave currently resides in Westwood, Massachusetts, with his wife Julie and four children. He is actively involved in that community, chairing the Westwood Zoning Board of Appeals for twenty years before stepping down in 2020 to serve as an elected Commissioner of the Westwood Sewer Commission.
